Journalists love to know about the story behind the story so we record a live interview with our authors, create a transcript and create a press release based on it. It gets results!

Book Buyers Lists

We also send releases to the book buyers in the major book stores as well as to our own lists of the  small independent book shops around the country.  Your Advanced Information Sheet automatically goes to all book distributors.

How does it work?

Book Launch Countdown is initially a six week programme and is costed at £250 a week plus VAT.

We will require your book description, back cover blurb, author biography, book description, book categories, key words, and reader reviews.

What we do

• An initial fact-find questionnaire, to collect the authors preferences and instructions
• Before you start, a consultation with the Book Doctor for a commercial evaluation of the book to establish that it is viable and will make a profit; to identify the market for the book and create a strategy and a plan to bring it to market.
• Digital audit to check that you have all the basics in place online
• Recording a journalist-led Author Backstory Interview on Zoom, transcribing and editing it into a press release
• Tapping in to the Vuelio global media database to create a bespoke list of journalists, media and channels that are right for your book.
• Writing and distributing regular press releases over the duration of the programme based on stories and news about the book, provided by the author

The Filament Book Marketing  and PR programme is subscribed to on a monthly basis for £1000 per month plus VAT (£1,200 in total). Minimum one month.
