Peoples Book Prize 2021

Congratulations to our Filament Authors

The People’s Book Prize was founded in the UK in 2010 by Patron Emeritus: Frederick Forsyth CBE and Founding Patron: Dame Beryl Bainbridge DBE. Every year since then it has invited the public to vote on their favourite books. At prestigious locations in London, the authors have been recognised for winning awards in a number of categories. Over the years, Filament authors have been honoured in this way.

On the 6th of May the finalist for 2020/21 were announced and we were thrilled to see that, in the children’s category, our title The Amazing Journey of Katy Cupsworth, The Performance Warrior by Ross McWilliam was listed.

In addition, in the Non-Fiction category, Stephen Gillen’s powerful book The Monkey Puzzle Tree also made it onto the list.

We were also thrilled to see that the directors of the People’s Book Prize voted Filament Publishing as the Best Publisher 2021. We are thrilled!

We would, very belatedly, like to recognise last year’s winner, the talented Helen Lewis of Literally PR and the Hashtag Press. Very well done!
