Congratultions to Smita Joshi, who today launches Diamond Revealed, the third book in her Karma & Diamonds trilogy.

Smita spoke about her trilogy on Tuesday 23rd May at the AuthorCraft event at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London in front of other authors, experts and friends.

Seen at Eat, Pray, Love meets The Secret, Karma & Diamonds is a gripping trilogy about the struggles of a woman who courageously conquers the challenges life throws at her. Smita’s vivid creative memoir of her troubled and brave childhood in India, adolescence in London and her remarkable journeys as an adult through holy sites and ashrams, shows how the happiness and fulfilment that we week are much closer to home than we think.

In Book 1, Moon Child, while facing possible death, a young Smita has a mystical experience and discovers her inner Self. Later it will help her through other traumatic situations and ultimately, blossom and thrive. Aged ten, she comes with her parents to the UK. Growing into a vibrant adolescent, she is confronted with the heart-wrenching challenge of balancing traditional Indian culture and modern-day London. Amidst rejection, heartbreak, loneliness and the struggle to start a career, determined to make life work, this young woman battles against all odds to find her place in the world, both physically and spiritually.

In Web of Karma, Book 2, Smita drops her well-paid job, following her inner voice to go and seek answers in India. She travels on a quest with gurus across the Himalayan foothills. She walks the fire and bathes in the Ganges. She’s astonished to find that her ‘Inner Diamond’ is connected to the core teachings of ancient India.

Back in London, her ‘Inner Diamond’ leads her down a mysterious path and then to New Mexico to conduct past life sessions.She discovers a horrible truth that has had her and her mother spellbound for centuries and she’s catapulted into a significant moment of history, where romance, science and mysticism meet.
