Congratulations to Chris Tuck, who has released her new book Breaking the CycleÔäó.
Chris launched the book last night, 22nd November 2016, at the AuthorCraft event at the Institute of Directors, London.
Breaking the CycleÔäó takes a holistic approach in dealing with the impact of emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and violence on the victim/survivor. Any ÔÇÿstressÔÇÖ we suffer affects how we think, feel and act. Understanding the root cause of our stress will enable us to find solutions to our everyday challenges.
The ChildrenÔÇÖs CommissionerÔÇÖs Report ÔÇÿProtecting Children From HarmÔÇÖ Nov 15 stated that ÔÇ£Only 1 in 8 children are known to have reported the abuse they suffered as a childÔÇØ. This means that 7 out of 8 children are growing up as adults whose lives will be negatively impacted in some way.
This book will both educate and empower you to take back control of your mental and physical health and well-being through the 7 Pillars of the C.L.E.A.N.E.RÔäó Living Therapy Programme by Breaking the CycleÔäó of what is holding you back and stuck in a rut. By taking small positive steps forwards, you can heal and recover from the impact of the abuse and violence you suffered.
Chris Tuck is a survivor of all forms of childhood abuse and neglect and grew up in a domestic violence household. As a result of the impact of the abuse she suffered on her mental and physical health, Chris retrained as a Health Coach and is also the author of Through the eyes of a child and Parenting without Tears.
Since publishing her first book, Through the eyes of a child, with Filament Publishing in 2013, Chris has set up a charity, Survivors of Abuse, become a campaigner and spokesperson for victims and survivors of child abuse, taken her story to schools and colleges, spoken in Parliament twice, including to the now Prime Minister Theresa May, hosted Breaking the CycleÔäó conferences and retreats, and so much more!
